CMT Music and CMT.com Debuts Eddie Montgomery’s “Crazies Welcome” Music Video Today

January 13, 2020

“Crazies Welcome,” award-winning country star Eddie Montgomery’s new video directed by Ed Pryor for Hideout Pictures, debuts on CMT Music and CMT.com today. Watch the new video here.

“Crazies Welcome” featured on Montgomery Gentry’s acclaimed album, “Here’s to You,” was written by Brad Warren, Brett Warren, Lance Miller and Jessi Alexander. Filmed at Springwater Superclub and Lounge in Nashville, the oldest bar serving alcohol in Tennessee (and a speak-easy during Prohibition in the 1920s), the video highlights a diverse group of people singing karaoke to “Crazies Welcome.”

“We all got a little crazy in us – and you’re welcome here with me, man. That’s what 'Crazies Welcome' is all about,” commented Montgomery. “The ones I came up with in the day, my heroes, the Haggard’s, the Waylon’s and the Willie’s, they done their own stuff, they were characters. Nowadays, you got music and everybody’s playing it, but where are our characters ‘cause those are the ones that stand out. Those are the ones on the juke box.”
